Facebook Removed My Israeli Flag Photo as ‘Dangerous,’ Then Restored It, Blaming ‘Technology’

On October 9, 2023, I changed my Facebook cover photo to an Israeli flag. Today, more than a year later, I received a message from Facebook telling me that the image had been removed:

The notification went on to say: “This goes against our Community Standards on dangerous individuals and organizations.”

I immediately responded to object to this decision. Minutes later, Facebook sent another message:

Precautions against the flag of the Jewish state?
