Gotten a couple of e-mails like this:
Subject: Sheehan
Yeah, she’s pretty awful, but isn’t NRO’s line — `Next to those, does it matter if she did or didn’t say her son died for Israel?’ — awfully similar to the CBS position on the Bush National Guard papers — `Fake but accurate’?
ME: My point only was that she has said a lot of other out-there things, things comparable in their vitriol to the ABC letter. So her credibility doesn’t rise or fall on that particular letter because she has already damaged it with so many of her other comments. But if the letter’s fake, it’s fake and I’ll be happy to leave it at that.
