Just got an e-mail from a National Guardsman who says the armed troops I saw at Grand Central last night weren’t new; they’ve been there since 9/11/01. Come to think of it, I used a different entrance from the one I usually do. This must account for my noticing them, and thinking they had just been deployed. Sorry for the mistake! At ease.
