Family’s Future

What do legal activists and the courts really have in store for marriage? The movement for same-sex marriage is a critically important part of the picture, but far from the whole of it. The larger goal of our social activists and legal elites is to effectively eliminate the institution of marriage–to “de-normalize” it. If you want to understand the big picture here–the one that makes sense of the large and the small legal challenges to marriage, then send for this excellent report on “The Future of Family Law.” The report was sponsored by, among others, David Blankenhorn’s Institute for American Values and Maggie Gallagher’s Institute for Marriage and Public Policy.
