In an amicus brief filed with the Supreme Court last week, Hannah Arensman, a female cyclocross national champion, explained why she was ending her cycling career. The reason was not injury or opportunity elsewhere, but the blatant injustice of men competing in women’s sports.

“At my last race at the recent UCI Cyclocross National Championships in the elite women’s category, I came in 4th place, flanked on either side by male riders awarded 3rd and 5th places,” she wrote.
