Final Point On The Pew Poll

It’s one thing to use a national sample that doesn’t try to select out voters when determining who goes to church, who’s happy or sad, or whether people believe there’s life on other planets. It’s another thing to do so when measuring attitudes toward a politician and thereby measuring the political fallout at a given moment. Where politics are concerned, the only thing that matters is the opinion of those who vote, because only the universe of voters can effect change.
