Cosmo chased his first deer of the trip. It was midsized, clearly loitering with intent to eat garden comestibles. Coz took off after it with gusto and disappeared down the mountain into the woods. He came back a minute later with a sense of profound satisfaction on his face. I think he finally forgives us for the drive.
