Fiorina and Life

Jay Nordlinger’s profile of Carly Fiorina quotes a Democratic political pro’s assessment that her pro-life stand alone would be enough to sink her in California. Interestingly, though, Fiorina was on the ballot the same day as a pro-choice Republican, Meg Whitman. The pro-lifer did a bit better: Fiorina lost with 42.2 percent of the vote, Whitman with 40.9 percent.

The whole profile is of course worth reading, but I especially enjoyed this very Nordlingerian comment on the candidate: “Her grammar is exceptionally sound. . .”
