…”Houston”! I don’t know that this is a reason to attend our Houston bash next Wednesday, but it gives me an excuse to mention it.
The only other thing I know about Houston is that it’s pronounced “HEW-stun,” while Houston Street in Manhattan is pronounced “HOW-stun” by New Yorkers. Nobody has ever been able to explain to me why this is so.
