I have no problem with Adam Daifallah’s piece on NRO yesterday chastising some Republicans for hyping Canada’s al Qaeda problem. But I do object to his inclusion of yours truly in his evidence. I don’t think I said anything about the extent of Canada’s al Quaeda problem or its “danger” to the U.S. I did say, as Daifallah notes, that Canada is profoundly deluded. On this, I think I was on firm ground — as a surprisingly large number of Canadian readers agreed.
