In Like Flynn

Today’s Between the Covers podcast is with thriller novelist Vince Flynn, author of American Assassin. We discuss why he decided to write a prequel to his Mitch Rapp series, why the new book is dedicated to the victims of the Pan Am Lockerbie terrorist attack and their families, and his plan for a new series of books featuring an NYPD detective (and co-authored by Brian Haig). Warning: Flynn doesn’t exactly cuss in the four-letter sense of cussing, but his language is a little salty in a couple of spots–consider this a PG-13 podcast.

John J. Miller, the national correspondent for National Review and host of its Great Books podcast, is the director of the Dow Journalism Program at Hillsdale College. He is the author of A Gift of Freedom: How the John M. Olin Foundation Changed America.
