Yesterday the Supreme Court unanimously rejected a bid to obtain nine previously unreleased photos of Vincent Foster’s body under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). In an opinion by Justice Kennedy, the Court ruled that the photos are covered by a FOIA exemption for materials that could violate a private individual’s privacy.
