Gouverneur Morris, draftsman of the Constitution, had sex in carriages, parlors, and the waiting room of a convent while he lived in Paris, but not so far as I know in a privy. In his defense, his partner was not an anonymous pickup, but a woman he would be in love with for almost a decade. Not in his defense, she was married, and also had a boyfriend (the father of her son).
When they first met, he wrote in his diary that she did not seem to be an “enemy to intrigue.” He did not record whether or not she tapped her foot.
