Christine Drazan, who’s running to be Oregon’s first Republican governor since 1987, has now led the field in four consecutive polls. Surveys from three separate polling firms, conducted September 19–24, all showed Drazan ahead:

This is still Oregon, of course — its history as a deep-blue state should temper overly optimistic Republican hopes. But if there’s any year for the Beaver State governor’s mansion to turn red, it’s going to be this one.
