Four Moore Years

The Washington Times reports that Steve Moore’s Club for Growth is unleashing an ad attacking Howard Dean in Iowa as a “Vermont freak show.” GOP strategists are assembled to wonder why, when they want Dean to be the nominee. But it’s also potentially desirable to make Dean’s path difficult, make him tire his Internet donors. It’s always a good idea to highlight Dean’s ultraliberal views. A small ad buy in no way threatens the millions of dollars of in-kind contributions of the media chanting “centrist, centrist, he’s really a centrist.”
