‘Four More Years, Shake Hands, Exit Stage Left,’ the President Said 

Dominic mentioned the building trades unions’ endorsement of Biden in a thoughtful post below. I’ll take the low road and mention the Biden gaffe of reading a stage direction, “Four more years, pause”:

A couple of points:

(1) This is hilarious.

(2) It’s the kind of thing that maybe could happen to anyone once, but it happens to Biden all the time.

(3) If a 45-year-old Republican president did this, it’d be one of the main things he’d be known for the rest of the presidency.

(4) That this happens when Biden is out on the campaign trail supposedly demonstrating his vigor is a reminder that the White House is never going to succeed in tamping down the concerns about the president’s age.
