My take on the majority leader candidates from yesterday: Blunt was fine, and it was smart of his people to ask that he not have to interact with the other two. Boehner was pretty bad I thought. Shadegg was fine too, although I thought it was a false symmetry to have three K St./scandal items that he had to respond to like the other two, when the magnitude of them is so much smaller. Up-shot: no one gained or lost much, and anything that keeps the dynamic of this race the same benefits Blunt.
