Friendly Advice for the GOP

Both The Hill and Politico have op-eds on Arizona’s new immigration law and, mysteriously, they’re both by hard-left amnesty advocates. Markos Moulitsas of Daily Kos expresses his deep concern for Republican electoral success by advising that support for amnesty and continued illegal immigration will help the GOP do better against Democratic candidates. Democratic Socialists of America honorary chair Eliseo Medina (also an SEIU official) displays the same touching devotion to the GOP’s future political prospects, with the added fillip of condemning the reactionary right-winger Charlie Crist as too hard-core on immigration.
