I’ve just returned home from the NRI Ideas Summit in Washington. It was my second since joining. And I have to say it’s really fantastic to see our readers, supporters, and patrons get together to celebrate a legacy of accomplishment in the past, while debating and inspiring others to act in the present. Writing can be a lonely task, and the first reactions we tend to see on the internet are from our dedicated haters. It is immensely energizing to come together, break bread, joke around, and even playfully mock each other.
We really appreciate it, and are doubly grateful for National Review Institute for all the hard work it takes to put together such a briskly paced, full event as we had.
