Fun With Presidential Statistics

I was going through the last several presidential elections in my mind, trying to come up with an example of a president who was defeated for re-election by a challenger who was not a governor at the time. If I’m remembering correctly, you have to go back to 1892. What’s the last time an incumbent president has been defeated by someone who was neither a sitting governor nor a former president himself?
