Now that the president’s tax reform panel has released its report, it seems the main criticism of my NRO piece was correct: the commission would again tilt the playing field back toward third-party health care payments, and eliminate the benefits of HSAs. Imagine getting the Medicare Rx program and HSAs, then the president takes HSAs back. Have a nice day.
