Georgia’s insurance commissioner blasted President Obama’s “fix” for people who have lost their health-care plans because of Obamacare, calling it a “political stunt” that shifts the burden and blame onto insurance companies.

”He has ordered insurance companies to prepare for the rollout of Obamacare on January 1, 2014, and now he gives insurance companies 31 days to undo that and go back and cover their existing customers,” Ralph Hudgens told Fox Business Network on Monday night. While it will be a tall order, Hudgens said his state is “doing everything we can possible” to help residents get back their previous plans that have been canceled due to the law.

Only 536 Georgians have signed up on the federal exchange thus far.
