Galloway

The Galloway story is awesome, if true. If you haven’t heard, one of Britain’s leading anti-war MPs has been accused of taking blood-for-oil money from Saddam Hussein. The Telegraph found documents suggesting he took hundreds of thousands of dollars in exchange for his anti-war activities. Galloway claims the documents were forged, which sounds awfully implausible to me. Regardless, if it turns out to be true, wouldn’t it be interesting to find out that this was a full-fledged program of the Iraqi government? What if folks in the US have been taking money too? Wouldn’t that be a humdinger of a story? I mean why should Britain have all the treasonous wankers?

If I was the commanding officer in charge of sifting through these Iraqi files, I would be barking out orders to find the “R” file — for Ritter.
