GALLUP: TOP CONCERNS

Concern over the war in Iraq appears to have risen dramatically in a new Gallup poll which asked the question, “In your view, what one or two issues should be the top priorities for the president and Congress to deal with at this time?”  Sixty-four percent of those surveyed from October 23-26 said Iraq, up from 47 percent who gave that answer in mid-September.  At the same time, just six percent named terrorism, along with the six percent who named national security.
