Ganging Up on Romney?

An e-mail from a very cynical reader:

I’m surprised no one has commented about how all of the other candidates praised McCain up and down in NH. Why? I think because they see him as a way to weaken Romney  in NH. Weaken Romney in NH, and it makes their own candidacies more viable. They don’t really see McCain as a threat anywhere, but if he can knock off Romney in NH, all the better for them if they can get victory elsewhere. Besides, it makes them sound magnanimous.
