Gentry Collins Drops Out Of RNC Race

Politico’s Jonathan Martin has the story:

Of course, Collins, despite visiting some 20 states to lobby members, found little support.

“There is a desire among members to have a member lead the party,” he said.

Collins declined to offer an endorsement to any of the four remaining challengers in the contest.

“I think any of the candidates would constitute a serious improvement over Chairman Steele’s leadership of the committee,” he said.
