Gettin’ Presidential

In the current issue of National Review, there’s a piece on John Bolton, the former U.N. ambassador. He’s thinking about running for president. You will find that piece on our site today, here. Is he serious, about running for president?

Let me put it this way: I have just received, through e-mail, a press release from a Texas politician saying, “Former Ambassador John Bolton Declares Support for Ken Paxton for Texas House Speaker.”

Bolton is issuing endorsements at the state-legislature level? He used to deal with the world’s foreign-policy officials on nukes and stuff? And now he’s endorsing for Texas house speaker? Whoa. That’s politicking.
