Getting Washington Right

This morning I testified in support of H.R. 2268, a bill to celebrate Washington’s birthday on February 22, not the third Monday in February. (This would also help shift the popular designation of the holiday away from the ubiquitous, though inaccurate, Presidents’ Day.)
