Over at the Telegraph, Daniel Hannan has a post, typically brilliant, about the National Health Service. One should read the whole thing, honestly. But this is how the post begins:

The reason the NHS lets patients down, says David Prior, chairman of the Care Quality Commission, is that “it became too powerful to criticise. When things were going wrong, people didn’t say anything. If you criticised the NHS – the attitude was ‘how dare you?’”

It’s not hard to see Obamacare developing this way. Indeed, I bet the Left is banking on it. Most people are laughing at Obamacare now, but, believe me: We have to nip this baby in the you-know-what.
