John McCain is on TV right now as part of the immigration-deal-announcement party with Ted Kennedy. If Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin and Laura Ingraham, etc. are any indication, this is not going to go over well with voters.
If I were Fred Thompson and serious about running I would consider making an issue of this in the coming days.
