In a Wall St Journal Op Ed (I think you have to be a subscriber), Newt Gingrich

offers a spirited defense of the Medicare Bill. Main points: it starts to

turn the ship some way in the direction of private provider-customer

“binary” health-care provision, and if the House doesn’t pass this, we shall

end up with something worse. Interesting… left me almost convinced.
