Gingrich Pledges to ‘Illustrate the Difference’ with Romney

Manchester, N.H. — As he walked into the Radisson tonight, I spoke with Newt Gingrich, and he told me that he will continue to fight for the nomination. His focus remains on Mitt Romney, he says, and he is prepared for a bruising battle.

“It’s going to be a real choice between a Reagan conservative and a Massachusetts moderate,” he says. His campaign, he adds, is prepared to “illustrate the difference.”

“I think South Carolina is going to be a very good state,” he says. “We’re very much looking forward to it.”
