Is Gingrich’s Florida Surge Losing Steam?

Among likely Florida Republican voters on Sunday, 38 percent said they would vote for Newt Gingrich in a new Time/CNN/ORC poll. But among those polled on Monday and Tuesday, only 29 percent backed Gingrich. Does that mean his South Carolina win only gave Gingrich a temporary surge in Florida? (hat tip: CNN’s Peter Hamby)

Full results from poll: Mitt Romney (36 percent), Gingrich (34 percent), Rick Santorum (11 percent), and Ron Paul (9 percent).
