Another thing about the Democratic debate yesterday. John Edwards said that Bush has “in every conceivable way expanded the executive power.”
Really? Every conceivable way? Every conceivable one? Lincoln, Wilson, FDR — to name just three — expanded the power of the executive in ways that Bush has not. Is it conceivable that maybe Edwards could crack open a book at some point?
