Global Warming, Crichton, Me

Beldar blogs. In saying I was “on Crowley’s side,” I meant only that Crichton’s attack on Crowley in his novel was vicious and repulsive. I didn’t read Crichton’s earlier global-warming novel or Crowley’s essay about it. I tend to think that the globe is warming, that this warming trend is partly the result of human activity, and that the precise extent to which it is the result of human activity is an open question. I am skeptical of Kyoto-type solutions.
