I was just in the Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center with John Sununu (just off his first debate and revving to win) for a fundraiser for the Susan B. Anthony. Sununu was beaming with optimism about McCain and Palin. He pointed out that McCain has been wearing his fighting face — the face he has when everyone’s piling on and he’s in it to win it, as the senator put it. And he reminder everyone that many worried Palin wasn’t going to pull off her convention speech — people even thought she should drop out after the Bristol news. So we’ve been bummed before with this ticket and surprised. So don’t let all the critics (yes, those here, too!) get you down. Go, Sarah, go. (Yes, in the Nordlinger sense.)
