John – By my quick calculations that’s 550 sober neoconservatives ($27.50 divided by .05). Assuming you weren’t counting the same neocons twice, that’s roughly 50 to 100 times more neocons than existed in the 1980s. Fortunately thanks to new accounting methods pioneered by Maureen Dowd and Josh Marshall, there are now some 100 million neocons in America, which could really add-up nickel-wise.
