Thanks to everyone who gathered at our events here Tuesday and Wednesday — there’s a lot of cautious conservative optimism in the land of Obama. Very cautious though — the coming health-care disaster (referred to as “reform”) is very much on the minds of NR friends.
But conservatives fight on — one young man in Madison told me he was spreading the common sense of conservatism “one girlfriend at a time.” When I repeated that in Chicago last night another told me he is doing the same “one child at a time.” Everyone has his mission.
