It came not in tonight’s episode, but in the promo for next week’s episode: Charles Logan is returning! The show has been in the doldrums for a while, and bringing back one of its most wonderfully reprehensible characters will be a shot in the arm. It reminds me, as a Washington Redskins fan, of when the Redskins brought back Joe Gibbs for a second tour as coach: It probably won’t work, in the sense of fixing everything that’s wrong and turning the team back into champions, but it will restore some much-needed spirit to the flagging franchise.
