Good for Rand Paul

Asked about what exceptions he favors in an abortion ban, he challenged reporters to ask DNC chairman (and Representative) Debbie Wasserman Schultz “if she’s okay with killing a seven-pound baby that is just not yet born yet.” Her response: “Here’s an answer. I support letting women and their doctors make this decision without government getting involved. Period. End of story.” And Senator Paul came back: “Sounds like her answer is yes, that she’s okay with killing a seven-pound baby.” It certainly does sound like that. She deserves credit, I suppose, for logical consistency: The baby’s weight can’t be what matters, after all.
