There’s a short item in the WSJ, no link, announcing that Adam Ciongoli has signed on to be a clerk for Sam Alito. This is a bit odd because Ciongoli is 37 years old and a pretty established big time lawyer. But it’s also good news for the few who fear that Alito may not be as conservative as billed. I don’t know Ciongoli personally (though my wife worked with him at DOJ), but he’s got a very solid reputation as a very smart conservative who’s worked with Ken Starr and Ashcroft.
