The current issue of NR is one of the better ones in a while, btw. The cover story by Kate and Rich is important (though I have to make myself read stories about Congress, no matter how well-done they may be). But Rich has probably the best critical review of Peter Beinart’s book I’ve seen and Ramesh has a very interesting, and respectful, rebuke of George Will. Byron reports incisively from KosFest as you might expect. And there’s much other good stuff. (What’s that latin phrase WFB loves about how including some means excluding others?).
