It’s that time of year, so here is what I’m hearing about GOP internal polls. California is looking shockingly good. There are two tracking polls running in California. Fiorina is tied in one. She is only narrowly behind in the other, but Boxer’s ballot number is just 42 percent in that poll. This race is very doable, much more doable than Republican politicos thought at first. West Virginia–tied. Washington–very close, Rossi within a point or two. Pennsylvania–close, but Toomey has never trailed. Alaska–this is a worrisome one, with Miller losing some altitude, although it’s hard to poll because of the Murkowski write-in situation.
