GOP Not Going to Pot

Presented without comment:

1. Support for pot legalization has hit a “record high,” (wordplay!) according to this Politico piece. Forty-seven percent of Americans support it, up two points from September.

2. Diana DeGette, a leading congressional Democrat from Colorado, introduced legislation two weeks ago that would keep Washington from overriding the votes of her home state and Washington to legalize the recreational use of marijuana. It looks like only two congressional Republicans, Ron Paul and Coloradoan Mike Coffman, support the bill so far.

3. Sigh.
