Gov. Daniels is a ‘Don’t Know’

A Gov. Daniels spokesperson calls to say he’s generally not responding to questions on the tax deal, but he’ll make an exception for us. According to his spokesperson, he says, “Clearly, it’s a terrible bill, but so is a massive tax increase that might prove impossible to unwind. So from this distance, I can’t tell which is worse.” Updated chart (feel free to mentally fill in Gov. Palin as a probable “no” and Gov. Huckabee as a “yes,” given his generally positive statements):

Q. If given the opportunity to vote “yes” or “no” on the Obama-McConnell tax deal as it currently stands (i.e., no further revisions), how would you vote?
