The Gov. of Mass. on Constitutional Convention There

“The people of Massachusetts deserve the opportunity to vote on the definition of marriage. The only way that can happen is for the Legislature to first do its job and take a vote of its own. The Constitution calls for such a vote. Failure to vote is a violation of the oath of office we all take to uphold the Constitution. Whether you agree or disagree with gay marriage, democracy should have its day and a vote should occur.”
