It was weird to see a comedian taking himself so seriously, and
coming off as such a total civics-class jerk. Carlson kept feeding him
set-ups for wisecracks, but Stewart has taken it upon himself to lecture
them about responsible politics. It was insufferable. Stewart’s been reading
too many of his own press clips.
