I was glad to see your post on the Corner regarding World Vision. The earthquake in Haiti resonates on a personal level with me as my husband and I decided to sponsor a child in Haiti through World Vision. We have only been her sponsor for a couple of months and the devastation caused by the earthquake has us on pins and needles because we have no idea if Nelcia and her family are safe. World Vision has promised to keep us informed but there is so much devastation on the ground that it is simply going to take time. We also made an additional donation to them to help them with their aide relief efforts. I encourage all of your readers to do the same.
