The problems facing Obamacare as well as President Obama’s efforts to divert attention from the law are, “by some measures, the low point of his presidency,” according to Morning Joe contributor Mark Halperin. As the implementation progresses and more problems and consequences of the law, such as policy cancellations, emerge, the situation may get more difficult.
“Part of the political challenge for the president now is every one of these big things that wasn’t discussed on passage, wasn’t discussed in the context of the presidential campaign is going to be controversial,” Halperin said on Wednesday. “The president’s going to have to defend it.”
