Harry Reid’s Latest Koch-Addled Rant: Kochs Have ‘Far More Money Than Virtually Every Government’

​”It is not right that we have two of richest men in the world trying to buy America,” he responded to a question by colleague Dick Durbin of Illinois. ”They have far more money than virtually every government.”

Bloomberg recently reported that the combined net worth of the Kochs surpasses $100 billion — which is larger than almost every U.S. state’s budget, though the statistics aren’t comparable since one is a stock and the other is a flow.
